ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ದಾನವಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಲ್ಲ ದಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾದಾನವೇ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಎಂಬ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಗೊಂಡ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸನಾತನ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೇಳೈಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾದಾನ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
